Terms
Qooqes Telemetry is run as a side project (see about). These terms are short on purpose; if something here is unclear, ask before relying on it.
Service is provided as-is
No warranty of any kind, express or implied. The status page reflects measured history, not a forward-looking commitment. There is no uptime SLA and no compensation for missed metrics, delayed alerts, or downtime.
Acceptable use
The ingest endpoint is for host telemetry: numeric metrics from systems the operator controls. Rate limits exist to keep the service usable for everyone; sending malformed batches to probe them, or using an account's token from more hosts than it was issued for, counts as abuse.
Suspension
Accounts or tokens that trigger sustained rate-limit violations, send obviously fabricated data, or are used for anything outside acceptable use may be throttled or disabled without notice. This is a small, self-funded service — there isn't capacity to absorb abusive traffic while investigating it.
Changes
The API and agent change; breaking changes are called out in the changelog before they ship where practical. The service may be discontinued; if that happens, notice will go to the contact address on file for each account with enough lead time to export data.
Liability
Use of this service to monitor production infrastructure is at the operator's own risk. It should be a secondary signal, not the only alerting path for anything that matters.
