About

Qooqes Telemetry is an independent side project, not a company. It's maintained by one person, in spare time, alongside a day job.

Why it exists

It started as a way to keep an eye on a handful of personal servers without pulling in a full monitoring stack for the sake of three hosts. The agent, ingest endpoint, and dashboard were built incrementally, and at some point other people running small fleets asked to use it instead of running their own. That's still the whole scope: a small telemetry service for people who want metrics and threshold alerts without operating Prometheus, Grafana, and an alertmanager for a handful of boxes.

What it isn't

There's no company behind this, no support team, no SLA. See terms for what that means in practice. If that's a problem for a given use case, a self-hosted stack is probably the better fit — the agent's metric set is intentionally boring (cpu, memory, disk, network) so migrating away isn't hard.
