Privacy
This covers what the agent sends to Qooqes Telemetry and what happens to it. There is no web account, no cookies, and no tracking on this site itself.
What the agent collects
Only what's listed in collect.metrics in the agent config: host-level
numbers such as CPU load, memory usage percentage, free disk bytes, and network
throughput. The agent does not read file contents, process lists, logs, or environment
variables, and has no code path to do so.
What's stored alongside metrics
- The
host_idandtagsset in the agent config — whatever the operator chose to put there. - Timestamps for each ingest batch.
- The source IP address of the ingest connection, kept for abuse and rate-limit purposes.
Retention
| Data | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Raw metric points | 90 days |
| Downsampled rollups (hourly averages) | 13 months |
| Incident records | Until the account is deleted |
| Ingest connection IPs | 30 days |
Sharing
Metrics and account data are not sold, and are not shared with third parties except where the operator configures a notification webhook — in which case the incident payload is sent to the URL they specified, and only that payload.
Deletion
Send a deletion request to the contact below with the affected host_id
values. Raw metrics and incident history for those hosts are removed; rollups already
older than the retention window are, by definition, already gone.
